1. We use a Honda Genuine Oil Filter. The oil filter is specifically designed to meet Honda’s high standards for performance and durability under all driving conditions. The Genuine Honda Oil Filter has a specially designed relief valve that allows oil to flow to the engine even if the filter is plugged. The filter is made of variable density paper to trap contaminants. The filter has a specially designed external gasket to provide superior sealing for solid contact between the filter and the engine. The filter has an anti-drainback valve that is designed to prevent oil from draining out of the filter when the engine is shut off. Leith Honda recommends that you rotate your tires at every other oil change or at least every 10,000 miles. In addition to rotating your tires, Leith Honda recommends that you balance your wheels every time you rotate your tires. Wheels that are out of balance can cause a vibration that is felt at highway speeds, and can cause irregular cupping of the tire. This will shorten the life expectancy of the tire and will result in a ride that is not as smooth or as comfortable as a tire that has been regularly rotated and balanced and isn’t cupped.
