How do I schedule a service appointment?

What options are available to me while I have my vehicle serviced?

For Honda owners, we offer a shuttle service to anywhere in the city of Raleigh, or to Triangle Town Center, if you would like to shop while your car is being serviced. A late night/early bird drop box is available for Honda owners who prefer leaving their vehicle after regular business hours. We offer a comfortable waiting area with satellite TV, hot beverages, bottled water, and our customers' favorite - POPCORN!

What are the advantages to taking my vehicle to Leith Honda for service?

I purchased accessories that were not installed at the time of delivery. How do I go about having them installed?

Once your accessories are available, our Internal Service Advisor, Ed Peterson, will contact you to schedule an appointment for you to have them installed. Be sure to bring the "We Owe" form given to you by your salesperson to the appointment. If you have any questions, contact Ed Peterson at (919) 322-1016.

Who should I contact if I have questions regarding the performance of my vehicle?

Is Leith Honda a Wi-Fi hotspot?

Yes! We know your time is important and want to make sure you are able to get work done or catch up on emails. Just see our friendly cashiers for login information when you arrive and you will be up and running in no time. There are eight available workstations and two connected computers for your convenience.

What should I do if I lose my keys?

If you need one of your keys copied, you will need to bring your registration card and driver's license with you to the dealership. The person whose name appears on the registration card must be present in order to have a key copied. In the event you lose all your keys, you may need to have the vehicle towed to the dealership to have a key made. Is there a kid-friendly area for waiting?

Of course! Waiting can be especially hard for little ones, so for your convenience we offer a semi-private waiting area, just for kids and their parents. There are a variety of toys and books for kids to enjoy, as well as a TV with only kid-friendly programming.

What does the Parts Department offer?

Our inventory of genuine Honda parts is one of the largest in the Southeast, assuring you same day service for most items. You may also order parts and accessories online. Just visit leithhonda.com and click on Order Parts / Accessories under the Service and Parts tab. The Honda parts boutique carries a wide selection of apparel and other Honda products including hats, pens, coffee mugs, license plate frames and front plates, and much more!

When will my new tag and registration card arrive?

Your new tag and registration card will be mailed to you within 30 days. It is common for registration cards to be mistakenly discarded, so make sure you retrieve the card from the inside pocket of the envelope. If you are receiving new tags you will receive a temporary registration card at the time of the delivery. If you transferred tags then your buyer's order will serve as your temporary registration card until your permanent one arrives.

What could cause my tag to be delayed?

In order for a permanent plate and registration card to be issued, the NC DMV requires that all the proper paperwork is received. The most common issues include temporary driver's license, out of state driver's license, and inadequate NC auto insurance. If you have been notified that any of these items are missing, please make every effort to obtain the proper documents and bring them to a Leith Honda Business Manager.

If financing, when will I receive my first bill?

Your first payment will be due 45 days from the date of purchase. You will receive your first statement 3-4 weeks after the purchase. If you have any questions, please contact one of our Business Managers at (919) 876-5200.

Vehicle Care & Cleaning Tips

  • DO NOT WASHyour vehicle with a sponge, wash mitt, or brush. These items can retain grit and dirt, which can scratch your paint.
  • AVOID WASHING your car in direct sunlight, or when it is hot. When the car is hot, the clear coat is soft and will scratch.
  • Wax car with liquid wax and a soft applicator or new sponge. Cars should be waxed about every 30 days because wax breaks down in that time period.
  • Use wax or Rain-X on windshield and windows to prevent acid rain deposits.
  • DO NOT USEArmor-All on dash or seats. Leather conditioner is a good substitute. Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner is a great brand and can be found in our parts department.
  • DO NOT SPRAYchemical wheel cleaners on hot wheels as it may stain.
  • Wax headlights to help dirt and rain bead off and to increase nighttime visibility.
  • During winter, DO NOT PUSH OR SCRAPEsnow off of the painted areas of your vehicle. This can cause scratches. Remove top layer and let lower layer melt off. DO NOT POUR HOT WATERon a cold windshield as it may crack.
  • Use peanut butter and a soft rag to remove tar from low panels behind tires. Make small swirl marks with light pressure.
  • Sap and bird droppings should be removed as soon as possible. Exposure to sun and heat can permanently damage paint and clearcoat.
  • Scratches on car that can be felt with your fingernail have to be wet sanded by a professional to be repaired.
